I would be happy with Jones, short term. I maintain to this day he was the true leader when we won L1. He has more leadership qualities in a finger nail than PD has in his whole sorry demeanour!

Same here, up until tonight I've been happy to give him time, and I wouldn't mind so much if we were performing well but the simple fact is we're not. I'm normally well on the side of "Who would you replace him with?" but we seem to be that poor at the minute it doesn't really matter because it seems like it can't get any worse. Maybe I'm just knee-jerking...I'll see if I've changed my mind in the morning.

Dickov has been living on borrowed time since  the end of last season. He has failed in the Championship and he is failing in League 1, how much more has he have to fail before the Board acts. Problem is will the Board act, Dickov's failure is their failure as they backed him to get Rovers promoted back to the Championship this season, some humble pie will have to be eaten in the Boardroom.

I have stayed out of the debate, surrounding the sacking of the manager, put I'm now of the opinion, he must go, I don't know who should replace him, if the board are giving funds for loan signings, better a new manager/coach to have the option, of who to bring in. Sorry PD you have to go.

The squad he has at the club should not be one point off the relegation places. Most of the side were playing in the championship with Rovers last season. He should never have got the gig in the first place.

  Last night made my mind up too..Especially after listening to Dickov after the match who was at a different match to me..I thought we were bloody awful in truth..The guy behind me went home at half time..i'm cold,bored and its not worth watching he said...Cant really argue with him..Tacticts were simply awful and whilst I've been on the fence on the manager debate,last night I fell of it and think it's time for a change...

IF, and its a BIG IF the board / shareholders decide on change of manager, I hope they look outside the club, none of this Coppinger / Jones / Wellans malarkey.

Problem is no "Recognised" manager will come cheaply. ( McDermott, Mulenstein, Solskear etc )
The ones that would come cheaply are the ones I am sure no one on here would want.( Laws).

So, I am hoping, if a change is to be made, its someone who has "Coaching experience", but not managerial ( unless its "Reserve" team).
Someone like Mike Phelan or Phil Neville or the likes.
