Kevin Keegan might not be the best , would attract some decent players imo.

I agree RedArmy - momentum took us through when Flynny got us promoted. I wouldn't want him to manage us and I woulnt expect him to want to come back now either.

Redfern or Adkins would be good shouts.
I think I prefer the idea of Adkins though. He seems to be able to get the lads on his side and bring out the best in them. He also has good knowledge of how to be successful in this league and the Championship.

The 'problem' with any established manager, for example Adkins, Davis, McDermott etc etc is they would want money to spend. And I mean 'real' money, not poncing around with the odd loan here and there
How much? I don't know. With the exception of Billy Sharp, we've never paid real money for a player. Is the board willing to do that? Well, they've not done it for Dickov.
Maybe cos they know he's crap

When we lost away to Walsall ROK had his side out warming down and stretching while our lot were probably inside pretending to listen to a bollocking (in the hopes of getting a "reaction").  It reminded me of how we used to be....would love to see the SOD type of era back.

Would love to see him back at DRFC

Everyone still holds something against SOD and his time here, we were getting 9k for games which would now see us get 5, yes the results were never the best but blimey it was a lot more exciting to watch least we created chances.

The first half of th echampionship season 08/09 we couldnt buy a win but you'd be lying if you said it wasnt exciting to see darren byfield have 30 chances a game and not score, id rather see that than not create chances and not score.

I don't understand why people have it in for SO'D. He's the best manager we've had in my time.

I liked Bremner, Penney and Anderson as well, but SO'D was the top man.

Him and RO'K complemented each other very well. I struggle to see what Horton and the rest of Dickov's staff bring to the party.

Graham Alexander.

3 successive promotions with Fleetwood, so knows how & when to 'change personnel' in order to compete & be successful as you play at a higher level.

Like PD he is a young manager, Fleetwood is his first managerial post, he is an ex pro. Unlike PD, he clearly knows how to get the best out of players, uses a small budget with great effect attracting good quality players, scours the lower leagues & Scotland for players that can add to his squad & yet are obtained on 'frees' allowing him I presume to offer them 'acceptable terms' for both player & club & from what I witnessed last week, has a team that plays attacking football, on the ground at a high tempo.

I reckon he'd view Rovers as a step up in his career (no disrespect to Fleetwood), he's my choice.

Graham alexander joined fleetwood when they were in league 2 and to be honest i dont think he would see it as a step up.

What about Phil Neville if you're looking at inexperienced people.

Dean Smith is pretty much a carbon copy of SOD. If anyone wants that again.
if it means getting promoted again then of course

Tisdale for me too.
Been firefighting at Exeter for years and doing well under the circumstances.
His matchday sartorial elegance is worth seeing too if the game's boring.

Interesting names but would the club be able to afford their wages?? Especially Fowler.

Do we really think the club are going to sack Dickov though? That's the big question.

I really don't think they will, even if we get relegated
