Sam could conceivably be called up for the  U21's who play on 13 and 17 November and still fit in our game on 15 Nov.

Cashflow is the only reason why we would ever consider playing a local derby without key players.

It can't be a football decision to play this game surely. Dickov will be in a right corner with this one especially when he may have to play a key attacking midfielder as a full back I.e. Copps !!

This isn't a business decision, we simply aren't allowed to postpone because only two of our players, excluding loanees, have been called up. It's just made worse with Evina being out injured and Butler not being allowed to play.

I reckon Dickov needs to do a bit of urgent research in to all the squad's family trees to see if he can turn up a long lost grandparent from a minor footballing nation and get them called up for their next qualifier.

If that's the rule then it is a daft one. It gives both Sheff Utd and Coventry the advantage of playing against weakened sides.

The players who don't usually get a game have a chance to prove they are capable,if i was the manager i would have been looking to bring left back cover in anyway,with Evina injured,and no specialised cover anyway.
Enda Stevens wouldn't be a bad signing,seeing as he has returned to Villa,this is the team i would go with we have no signings coming in.

You have to play as near to your best side that you can,changing the formation to put an extra midfielder in won't help,it gives the opposition the opinion that you are scared,there should be enough quality in this side to get a good result.

Surely not, I mean that doesn't fit in with the consensus that the club only care what is best for the business side of things rather than the footballing side....

Can we not appeal? We'll barely be able to muster a defence at this rate and the bench will consist almost entirely of youth team players.
But good to see that the authorities are still receptive to the problems of all clubs within its jurisdiction.
