Breaking Bad
« on November 14, 2014, 10:31:59 pm by moses »
I know a few of you have watched Breaking Bad. I am currently watching via Netflix. Does anyone else find the bit before the titles unnecessary. Maybe I am a philistine but let the narrative flow I don't want to know what's going to happen.

You'll get used to it moses. It does set the scene and whet the appetite.

We're just into season two. I find it really slow going but for some reason I'm hooked.

I thought it was very slow going all the way through and wasn't that impressed. We had watched all of 24 before breaking bad which is far far better.

I watched it years ago along with it being aired in the US. Never watched the last few episodes of the last series though for some reason, never even looked to see what happened. Bizzare really.

Bloody good series Breaking Bad.

It took me most of series one to stopreccomend seeing Walt as Malcolm in the middles dad though.

The further on it goes the more gripping it becomes.

It's fantastic!

I'm currently watching the whole thing via Netflix for a second time round, I'm half way through the fifth series. Might watch it all the way through for a third time as our lass has never seen it and wants too.

I'm not sure I could watch it again, as much as it was a fantastic bit of TV, it was all about the suspense for me and knowing what happened would just kill it a bit.

Just give it a few years, I'm currently re-watching Prison Break to pass the time while riding my turbo trainer in the garage and even though I've seen it before I can't remember any of it!

We've started watching Prison Break, just watched episode 19. I would love to sit and home and watch it all day every day, compulsive viewing!

The Strain is very good, if you like that sort of thing.  House of Cards with the boy Spacey is also very good.

Just finished season 1 and I'm struggling to see how they can string out almost 60 episodes without it going that way.

The 2nd season was good, not as inventive or gritty as the 1st.  The 3rd starts the whole conspiracy theory thing going again.  The last series was an abomination.

Am really enjoying it. Am half way through series 5, am debating whether to see it through on an all nighter or whether to keep doing an episode a day?

All done. Really enjoyed it. By the end of the final series there is like a lingering doom that the end is nigh.

Quite liked the ending though.

I feel so sorry for Jesse.  I know he brought it all on himself, but still.  If ever there was a series you want to show 14 year old kids of the dangers of getting into something that is out of your control, this is the one.

Just watched the very last episode of breaking bad this evening, wow! I thought the 5th and last season was excellent.

Lad's present from his Uncle. Is this some Heisenberg reference or have I been watching too much Breaking Bad and it's just a Lego flask?

For those of you about to embark on watching Breaking Bad. I've watched every episode. It's good but is not the best series there's ever been on telly. Its been way over hyped.

The storyline doesn't bear the slightest scrutiny. I have to say I enjoyed it but I had to disengage my brain.

There is no doubt in my mind as to what has been the best groundbreaking series there has ever been and that accolade goes to Spartacus. I'm not exaggerating when I say it is 10 times better than Breaking Bad.
