Metheringham between Sleaford  and Lincoln. 108 mile round trip leave about 5 tonight. Bringing along a Lincoln ST holder to show them what real footy looks like.

West Bridgford.

Caught my biggest Trent Barbel from just down the road from you on the River beside Holme Pierrpont water sports centre :)

Peg 114 at Fiskerton (bottom of Hazleford Weir for mine)

Oh and Thorne (formerly Stainy) to remain on topic

Loved Fiskerton, very prolific area for the Chub, but probably my favourite area of the Trent is the sunken barge at South Muskham just upstream of Crankley Point

Not too far away from me then GR. Was driving through Amesbury about 3 weeks back. There's quite a decent little coterie now of exiles here in the south west.

Now that is a long way! Wife's side of the family come from Millom. Takes bloomin ages to get there and a nightmare when it's snowing too!
Nice in the summer though (when it's dry) :)

We travel from Brant Road, Newark Road, Traffic Lights..........In Lincoln
78 miles round trip ..........We like to use the Gainsborough/ Bawtry route most of which is nice and quiet traffic wise and we enjoy the trip there and back.

Approx 160 miles. Like you say, a great part of the country in the summer, but that A595 from Greenod to Millom must be the worst "A" road in the country.

Qatar, although games a few & far between these days! Only when your away do you tend to appreciate the small things in life like being able to watch your local team. So to all the moaners out there Win , lose or draw at least you get to watch!

Carlton Le moorland in deepest darkest Lincolnshire - has been described as 'the land that time forgot'! 3 farms, 1 pub and the nearest shops 2 miles away - but we love it!

Pain in the arse in freezing weather as no gritting for the 6 miles to the A46 - just 6 foot deep ditches either side of the 'roads' barely wide enough for 2 cars to pass! Just under an hour if the traffic on the A1 is moving.

Pretty obvious from my username. I don't get to the KM much 650 mile round trip but try to get to the relatively near  away games. Other than that I watch the same two Island teams play each other every week in the smallest league  in the world !.
