Typical big club get the desison he was seeking to gain an advantage which is what offside is
For me Rooney was n't interferring with play, he was n't blocking the keepers view at all. had it gone the other side of Rooney the keeper had a case

Rules of the game state you av to be stood in front of gk to be offside he wasn't ? a dive? If it was Tyson? who'd be screaming for a pen?
.... time wasting becomes a thing of the past apart from going to Corner Flag etc but at least the ball is in play then and the opposition have a chance to "get it"

And, for safety reasons with heading causing brain damage, it's time to change the ball to one of those lightweight placcy ones that also means more skills with wibbly wobbly curlers for any shot over 10 yards. The time is nigh!
