He was our best player today when he came on. Class apart.

And the more better performances he puts in the bigger a fee we'd get if he does go.

Win-win situation?

I don't think it's a win situation when you sell your best player, unless of course you're talking of financial gain. The trouble is, clubs with financial restraints, like us, lose out because they never receive what a player is actually worth. If for instance Rovers sold Forrester for £1m, they'd have to pay about £4m to buy someone the same quality as him.

It's a sad, sad situation.

BB we didn't pay 4 million for him when we bought him so why do you think it would take 4 million to replace him??

Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

I'd be sorry to see him go.  I think he's been great once he got rid of those early season sending off blues.

But who would buy him for that?  Birmingham seem to like our ex-wide players.

I guess thats why they call them "The Blues"....

Forrester's our best player and we haven't even got a decent song for him. I remember we never had a song for Guy either, and we all know what happened to him.

It's just something we have to sacrifice though. And Saturday nights alright for fighting off other clubs that may be interested in him.

I think we'll keep him and he'll help us to the top of the league as we step into Christmas.

Forresters a quality player and one we need to keep hold of unless a ridiculous bid came in for him in the summer. He's a match winner, look at Barnsley at home.

If he had been fit for the majority of last season we'd still be in the champ.

Agreed Dare to Dream.

And the way he started this season with those red cards and petulant displays seems to be a thing of the past.  I suspect Dickov gave him a rocket, man.

One of the red cards wasn't a red card to be fair to him. I don't think he is any different on the pitch now to what he has ever been. People were too quick to label him early in the season.

I'm sorry but I've had to complain to the relevant authorities about the terrible Elton John puns.

I hope you don't mind

I thought they were a little bit funny...

Apparently PD was wanting more movement in away games for a more entertaining style of football ........ Something about motions for a travelling show?

At the end of the day, if we do lose him to a bigger club it won't be a surprise. It's the circle of life, and we will have to move on

Excellent player who is still learning & has massive potential, fact is if we do sell we will receive a fraction of what he's worth, Rovers have always been a soft touch regarding selling players.
