On banning order number 4, after the little fracas in town with Tranmere. For once, he did absolutely f*** all to get banned.

A few Donny were properly stitched up that day by all accounts. Didn't OB march a load of Tranmere straight past Paris gate with the express intention of nicking Tetley & co for being in the vicinity of their mob?

A couple of the Tranmere lads are acquaintances of mine so I had a few beers with them in the Masons after the game and offered to walk back to the station with them, but they said they could find their way.

I would have taken them down West Laith Gate and avoided Paris Gate, but the SYPD in their infinite wisdom picked them up and paraded them down St Sep past PG where there were a few out celebrating a certain Donny White's birthday. Complete stitch-up.

Does anyone remember a bloke called "Haigy" who used to wear a long blonde wig and a red and white cardigan.
He was a regular in the 60's and a kind of leader of the home end and away fans.
There was also a girl called Sue who went to loads of away games with Haigy and his band of regulars.

Brian Haig died about 15 20 years ago, I worked for coop funeral company and they braught him in and I was shocked

Haighy (Brian) lived in Hexthorpe and seemed to disappear about 1970. His elder brother (Pete) was a lot taller and ended up in a wheelchair but still attended games until a few seasons ago.
Some years ago Ken Avis told me that Sue used to meet her son off the coach after away games. Maybe he still goes.

Not just any triathlons either. He's an Ironman which given his Rovers watching physique is a bloody marvellous achievement.
