Billy Sharp bookies favourite - Why?

Bet 365's odds on Top Goal Scorer

Why is Sharp Number 1.
I've had a daft £1 on Curtis also £1 on Williams.

Maybe because he's a proven goalscorer?

Why is Sharp Number 1.

Maybe because every time he's played at this level he's scored for fun?

Not played at this level for a long time, and he's not the player he was back then

Safe for who, the bookies? 😉

Id say it's a risk backing main, he may not play week in week out, although that said I would imagine if he gets a run he may surprise a few people.

I have a sneaky feeling paddy madden will have a good season for scunny! I know it's not a great pointer but he's scored 7 or 8 this pre season! He knows where the goal is and if robins has got him to get his head screwed on he will be dangerous!

I've already had a little flutter on them for promotion! Pains me to say it but they have a gaffer who knows what's happening and can get the best out of players! Plus they're moving forward to a new stadium and so on! I think they'll do very well!

If we're above them at the end of the season we'll have had a good 'un I'm sure!

Scunny are already having problems with the new stadium. It looks great on paper but it can't be built for the sum of money they have. Familiar story anybody?

Far from the subject matter but WHY do they want / need a new Stadium ? Are they going to "do a Morecambe" and have a new Stadium with an increased capacity of about 100 ?

Just curious

Isn't there an issue about introducing seats in part of Glanford Park? Something they would have to do if they get back up to the Championship.
