I think Scunny are going to be a danger this season as they've not just recruited in numbers but also in quality. They beat the Owls 4-2 the other night and Paddy Madden (ex Yeovil) has 6 goals in pre-season.

I think this is the best squad going into a season we've had for a long time. From what I've seen of the friendly games on player, the individuals are good, but what comes across to me is the balance and the cohesiveness of the team.
We also look more powerful than of recent, and seem to have a stringer mindset through the team which is where we were particularly weak looking last season, especially after Jones was injured, and further when Keegan was out. Stuckmann appears to be a really calm, well balanced, authorititive keeper, capable too, which makes for a strong starting point.
Great signings IMO and definitely the kind of side that reflects Dickov. I even think this side is one with a backbone that has the potential to make the leap to Championship sustainability where with last seasons group I think we would have been hanging by a thread. Obviously with a few additions.

I think that's key. Much of the squad would not be out of place in the championship. Which augers well for continuity should we go up. Excited for the lads to get going.

Nice to see the positive views ( with an odd exception) and good to see that things appear to be going well.

Agree Bristol. I've said before if we want to get to the Championship we need Championship quality players to get us there, and be the core of a team to keep us in the Championship.
