Lose.
I've been wrong every time so far so let's hope that it continues.

I am with you ....

The only ones I get right are the ones when I am "out". So back in and LOSE for me

Can I ask......Why do folk NOT in the running insist on forecast.

I did it once by accident !

Perhaps people still like a punt so perhaps we should have this "official" thread run very well as it is which is a "Competion" ...

...and we can have a secondary unofficial Thread for those of us who are (usually) frozen out of that one. We do one for the attendances at home so this would be similar ?

I take your point DW. When I started up the competition I thought the knockout system would run a lot longer than it actually does, and would create a bit of excitement in the process!

Considering your idea, it might be a better one on reflection, although it could mean there would be more recording of results involved making it a more time consuming task.

Anyway, we can't change the goal posts mid contest so it's got to be status quo for the rest of the season at least.

Cheers!

I think you are doing a great job already and have to deal with Muppets like me who cant / don't understand the Rules

Why not just continue as you are and I will do a separate thread for those eliminated from the main "Competition" run and collated by you. The alternative would not have any points only the Kudos of being right !

You could direct people from your Thread to the alternate one when posting the "who is left in" list

I too expected the one you run to last longer - but shows what "we" know as average Pundits I suppose - although like the "Match day Mascots" some people cant or wont see past a Rovers win even if we were down to 7 fit players 3 of which were suspended for the game they were next predicting !

I will start an unofficial thread for the game after Gillingham as there will doubtless be a few knocked out - probably Idler and myself for a start ! I will always call it the Unofficial Prediction Thread v ................ and come up with the some relevant words by way of explanation for the each game !

Well, the PvO comp  is hardly official! Maybe my good friend Al4475 can make it so by placing it in a 'sticky' thing at the top of the page to avoid any confusion!

LOSE

And BB - I'll sticky it when I get home! Then those who predict correctly stay on the Stickeyed thread and those out move to dw's unofficial one! Sound ok folks?

Also I reckon I could get a signed squad shirt via liam for the overall winner if you all like - make it worth winning?

If you're all agreeable - leave it with me and I'll sort it!
