I have been to 2 games but found it very hard to get a season ticket while PD was in charge.
I am prepared to commit now.
MAYBE THE CLUB SHOULD MAKE AN OFFER FOR PEOPLE TO GET SEASON TICKETS NOW

I've always wondered - why do the club not offer season tickets throughout the season at a price that is reduced by each game that goes by?

I know that this is kind of the point of the multi-game ticket books, but still.

Season tickets can be bought at any stage of the season.
They will just tear out the tickets for matches already played and reduce the price of the season ticket.

I took a sabbatical in the Richardson era and started going again after we got relegated to the Conference. Gate man never stopped me saying "Oi, part-timer, we don't want the likes of you here!"

If someone wants to spend another £200 plus on the club, that's good isn't it?

Some of our fans need to realise, we need to encourage any fans who want to go to a game, it doesn't matter if they are glory hunters, second team watchers or whatever, it isn't a key link job, where you get a link for each year.
The fair weather fans money is as good as the die hard fans, hopefully those who chose to stay away will come back and start enjoying their saturdays again, instead of carrying the missus' shopping bags round Lidl.

I have a season ticket and I've found it very difficult to get motivated to drive over for the games the last year or so. Especially night games in the middle of winter when I know the roads are going to be shite on the drive back to Scarborough.
I find the attitude of some people on here unbelievable. Go and have a long hard look in the mirror

If you didn't want to come and pay to watch the rubbish there has been in the Keepmoat fair enough, I've got a season ticket so I have to.

I don't think more people coming to games now is a bad thing at all, I hope the sacking brings people back!

Thanks for those comments even if they are completely wrong.
I have not paid my money up front this season like I have done for the last 20 years or so.
I have only been to 2 games this season due to going on holiday.
I still go to as many away games as I can.

Info from ticket office if you are really interested

"Yes season tickets are available throughout the year, if you are interested in a season ticket contact the ticket office on 01302 762576 and they can talk you through the availability and cost for the rest of the season.
Alternatively to the season ticket, if you cannot make every game, we do sell 10 and 5 match packages, where you pick and choose the games you want to attend.
Also if you don't want to pay upfront for your games, I would recommend a £10 membership that then reduces your match day ticket by £3/£4 depending upon where you sit.
Ticket office staff can assist with any other enquires you may have."

Yes, we recommended the club ended the full or half season tickets and sold them at anytime to anyone who was prepared to put their hand in their pocket and not lose the discount proportionately. They've been doing it a few seasons now.
