Anyone been out in Bristol recently?
I am attending a stag do at the end of the month. So any suggestions for daytime pubs, or non dance music clubs great fully received.

BRR is your man for this - I can do coffee shops!!
The Harbourside/Corn Street/St Nicholas Market area is the popular place. If you do all the pubs in that area you will have had a good night.
The Llandoger Trow on Welsh Back is probably the most famous and certainly the most scenic pub in Bristol. A big half timbered place it has connections with both Treasure Island and Robinson Crusoe. Up the other end of the floating harbour is The Grain Barge, which is a pub on the river, all real ales from the Bristol Beer Factory.
I am even worse on clubs. If The Fleece doesnt have bands on they will have a music night, they are a rock club. I think The Thekla does indie nights.
