Let's face it if we had gone on to get promoted this season how many of our current squad would have been good enough to keep us their. The only ones worth keeping would have beenStuckman, Coppinger, Keegan, Williams and due to their ages I would say Evina, Lund, Middleton, and Mandeville. So we would have needed 14 new signings just to take the squad size to 22 So in hindsight getting promoted this season would be one season too early as DF would not have been able to unload some of the players due to contracts extending into next season.
To be fair, we've been shite at home all season and very good away, it's just unfortunate we've had 3 home games on the bounce We will probably beat Barnsley
Under ferguson AwayPlayed 9 Won 4Drawn 3Lost 2Points 15Unbeaten in 4 months Home Played 9Won 3Drawn 1Lost 5Points 10Lost the last 3 games There's no way anybody of a right mind can suggest our away form is just the same as our home
1 think it is 4 million, but I stand to be corrected if I am wrong.
I've said numerous times what happened before ferguson came in is totally and utterly irrelevant, under ferguson our away form has been promotion form, Therefore it's been unfortunate our last 3 games have been at home, if we maintain our away form we will finish comfortably inside the top 10

Having promotion away form isn't likely to improve home gates.I've been doing a 90 mile round trip since 1978.Petrol has gone through the roof since then and I'm now in my late sixties.Do I feel like renewing my season ticket driving mostly on my own every week next season? Sorry, No.I feel your pain. My round trip is 150 miles. I will renew my season ticket (even though I've only been to about 6 games this season) for 2 reasons:1) I'm 60 so it's only £2842) I'm starting a new job in May and I won't be working weekends or evenings 😆I don't expect to win or play well every week but watching since 1958 I now enjoy very few home games. Value for money? I don't think so.

Surely we've had more than 5 enjoyable games just in the time Ferguson has been here
I think performances such as Southend, button, Coventry show were not far away from being a good side
Thin quality outside the first XI. I reckon this team is good enough to tilt at the play-offs.StuckmannMattioniAlcockButlerMcCullough/Taylor-SinclairEvinaCoppingerGrantKeeganTysonWilliamsBut there's precious little quality in the squad beyond them. A couple of injuries and we're bottom half material.
