It's a mathematical possibility but I'd argue it's more as a result of our poor form over the last dozen games that has sent us lower and resulted in us being in the bottom four (assuming that happens). Thankfully, there are enough games to turn this around.

Oh, and it's 'will', with two 'l's. And a bit of punctuation between 'tonight' and 'it' would improve readability. Other than that, and the undercurrent of constant negativity, everything is fine. Have a nice, smiley day! ;-)

Surely based on your argument, one could argue "yes" on both points!

Somebody has to be good in his family, seeing as though he isn't!. The family did well for a while though with their 'Mainline bus services', but in the end the petrol ran out of their success!

Well he's played 45 mins as still not scored. Mind no difference on average to our strikers.

50’ CHANCE! Curtis Main gets behind the defence, shoots but Doyle makes an excellent save to deny the striker.

Curtis is trying is best.

I just voted Curtis Main for MOTM on Oldham's twitter feed. He currently leads with 100% of the vote.

Must've had a stormer tonight

"88’ Curtis Main cuts inside and shoots but it’s well over the crossbar."

Good boy.

Apparently there is an issue with the terms of the loan. All three parties have to agree to him being recalled. We've asked for him back but await an answer.

Can't see why Oldham would let him come back if that's the case. If he's doing alright there (I know he's not scoring but he seems to be playing week in week out so he must be doing something right) then they'd be mad to let him come to a relegation rival. Arguably just like we were mad to let him go there without a recall clause being in place!

Any idea what the issue might be, TRB? Seems an odd situation.

The issue is that Oldham and Main have to agree if we ask for him back.

I can see that Oldham might want to hang onto him and Main might prefer being there to being on our bench.

Ah, got you. I'd misread your post as "all parties have agreed".

Absolutely no way will either Main or Oldham agree to that, he's getting game time at a club where the majority of fans don't hate his guts and Oldham will see this as an easy way to get one over on a relegation rival.

Absolutely ridiculous situation for the club to be in if true.

But DF did say we can call him back after the 28 day period

If Main dun't want to come back here at this time i would terminate his contract at the end of the season

If only contract law supported such an action. But, hey, let's not let legal technicalities derail a fit of pique, eh?
