We're signing the whole Accrington team from last season. He's 21 so will develop. 6'4''

Rejected new contract at Huddersfield so compensation will be due.

I think SCWK called this one as a potential signing but was feeling under the weather so didn't share it with us.

Don't know anything about him. But again he's a good age, a good height for a centre back and has experience playing in the division. Encouraging that Huddersfield saw enough in him to offer a new deal but he's chosen us. Compensation fee already agreed outside tribunal.

Not played since Feb. Went off injured and replaced by Liam Wakefield.

The type of signing I want us to make. Potential but likely good enough already.  Building very nicely.

things are building well, getting a young player Huddersfield wanted to keep is very promising

Not sure you've had a positive thing to say about any of our signings yet Chris

This lad was the star of my lads boys team, he was a very energetic and creative player with no small amount of steel. Nobody at Monk Fryston was surprised when Huddersfield signed him professionally. Ive known him since he was 9 and he is a genuinely nice lad. I really believe he could do a job for us! Good luck Joe.

His middle name is Harris. Let's hope he'll "Harris" a few strikers!

Chant:

"Joe Wright, Joe Wright,
Everything's gonna be alright.
Joe Wright, Joe Wright.
It's really Joe Wright!"

If we are going to play McCullough in midfield then we definitely need another centre back.

Why? We've got 5 now who can potentially play there. It won't be a priority.

As above - reckon that Butler, Baudry and Alcock will start if we play 3 at the back, which leaves Wright and McCullough as cover. I'd prefer us to focus on getting someone better than Lund in at RWB and a striker.

We need a goal machine, preferably one with an afro.

We've had enough of this the last few seasons, "making do" or "he can play there if need be".

We have three dedicated centre backs on the books. Think that is enough to see through a season?

No good putting Alcock in there as we then create a problem at right back.

Take McCullough out of the midfield shield and we are reliant on Keegan.

Let's get some square pegs for square holes.
