In that article Fergie is quoted as saying:

“I think there’s one or two clubs in the Premier League that we’ve got good relationships with,”

You would have to think Everton is one of them, re. Grant. They weren't averse to sending promising youngsters such as Ryan Ledson and Liam Walsh on loan to League 2 sides this past season.

Where has this story come from ??

Keshi Anderson could be in line for a return to Doncaster Rovers.

Darren Ferguson has told the Free Press that he would like to bring the 21-year-old striker back to the Keepmoat Stadium – and Crystal Palace are open to the idea.

Anderson scored three goals in nine appearances on loan at Rovers last season.

He also impressed everyone at the club with his attitude, enthusiasm and application, before breaking his leg against Rochdale in November and returning to Palace.

Anderson was back running in April and hopes to be fully fit in time for pre-season training with the Eagles.

“Keshi Anderson is certainly one we would try and bring back,” said Ferguson, at the end of last season.

“And Crystal Palace are quite keen on that happening.

“Obviously the boy’s still miles away in terms of his fitness.

“But he knows he’s going to play and he likes it here.”

New rules stipulate that Football League clubs can now only sign players on half and full-season loans.

Despite dropping into League Two, Ferguson is confident he can still attract loan players from the Premier League.

“I think there’s one or two clubs in the Premier League that we’ve got good relationships with,” he said.

“I think we do it the right way. The lads that come here get coached right, they like the atmosphere and they get good information.”

Gary McSheffrey this week became Rovers’ sixth summer signing, while goalkeeper Marko Marosi also penned a new one-year contract.

Be a bloody good signing or loan signing if we get the lad, we on paper should have a cracking team come August.

DF did say in another interview any loans won't be done until the clubs start training again so this probably won't be for a few more week if it was to happen.

I think since the Stoke game most of the team must have been smoking it 😀

Surprised nobody's noticed but I think we've got another name to add to the misspelled Rovers (or former players') names list.

Just go with 'afro love machine'. That's how I'm spelling it.

I think we definitely need one more. Probably also a midfielder and a left back. Then I think we're good.

Whether those are permanent or long term loans might depend on how successful we are at moving surplus players on. I'm pretty sure Chaplow will go and I think Stuckmann and Main will have offers, but I'm not sure about the others.

May I suggest "Keshiey"?

Fits the new theme for our players, after all.

That or "Ando" for the bantz.

The original source is Darren Ferguson's interview after we signed Rowe a few weeks back. He just said there is a chance he would come back and Crystal Palace are keen for him to come back here. The free press just tend to recycle past quotes into new articles when it is a slow news day. Gav Baldwin also said at the DRSG meeting that loan signings wouldn't be coming in until teams started training again, so don't keep refreshing the twitter feed hoping for owt.

If we can add this to the signings already, I will be even more impressed. I strongly believe if we had kept Kezza for the full season we would have definitely been in League 1 next season. fingers crossed on this one.

This would be a ridiculously good signing for us and I think the move would be just as good for Keshi Anderson.

I think we'll get one more permanent striker and then possibly anderson on loan!

Also agree with earlier post another left full back and central midfielder too would be great additions!

Someone who's already scored a few goals at lg 2 level or above if possible or a prolific scottish pl/champ striker or upcoming prolific non-leaguer!
