My first game was in 1952, when I was 9 years old! Played Nottm Forest, drew 1-1. Can't remember who scored.............anybody?
The programme for this season will be commemorating a particularly special anniversary. Can you guess what that might be?

Will there be a piece in each programme, and did we ever get confirmation of those dodgy goalscorers?
Me & my brother went to our first Rovers game in 1967 & became season ticket holders the following season, so this season marks 50 years for us as supporters. We've stood together (& more latterly sat together, along with his smashing 10 & 8 year old daughters who are now themselves season ticket holders) through all the up's & the down's, in all weathers, from Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park, to Newcastle United at St. James Park.So tomorrow we have our first league home game of the new season. I hope, no, I feel this 'anniversary season' will be another memorable one for us culminating in promotion to EFL1 & ultimately back to the Championship, but one thing for certain if the fates allow, we'll both still be there.RTID.
Strange i started going in 1957 but we got relegated that season, 57/58
Can anyone help me pin down my first Rovers game? It was a friendly against LUFC. I think i was around 6/7 years old? So that would be in the late 60,s If anyone a record of us playing at home in that era i would be grateful.

Will look out some details.
My first game was a home 0-0 draw against Chesterfield in 1962 when i was ten years old.The first goal i saw scored by a Rovers player was by Colin Booth a couple of games later.Out of interest, Wiki tells me that Boothy is still with us and is 81 now.Now he was a good striker.
My son was pat testing in Derby and mentioned to the woman there that he was a Donny fan. It turned out that she was Brian Conwell's daughter.
