One for Tiddysdad ?
« on September 10, 2016, 09:13:18 pm by Donnywolf »
Would make a great Poster

Also Club could maybe get these in the shop signed by Copps and Framed by Deebee and split the profit with British Heart Foundation ?

Can someone please post this Photo permanently on here as I have the same problem. I get logged out randomly and so the Photo I posted disappears.

So 306 people have viewed the thread but only 24 have seen the Photo

 Cheers DW

I suspect it only classes as a 'view' if folk click on the photo, but everyone can see it when they open the thread.

I can certainly see it anyway.

I can only see the picture if I'm actually logged in.

Hi I think you are right but it is a problem I have had for ages in that even if I log in "forever" I still randomly get logged out. Could be an hour or a day but eventually I have to sign in again

In the meantime if I have posted a Photo like now or a Form for a Competition nobody can see until I visit the Site and Log back in. I was given a fix which worked BUT it also left my Bank Accounts and Utility Web Sites "logged in" as well so I opted to live with it.

Tiddysdad may want to edit the position of Marquis' right hand....

That must coincide with me being logged in ? Next time you cant see it check the list of people logged in and I suspect I wont be in it ?

Yes I thought that too ... but it would be good if the feet could be in the shot whilst keeping Copps hands in there too. I think its a great (iconic already) photo !

Just angle the arm a few inches down towards Copps' knee and it will work fine.

Great pic though.

In fact, that would also make a good statue?

That won't necessarily work as the user log only updates every 15 minutes or so.

Now that IS ironic ! I have stayed logged in for a while but you have presumably posted the Photo and though I can see mine yours is shown as a little black cross in a box !

Now that would be in keeping with the existing "Spirit of Doncaster" statue, and certainly an improvement.

Why change the picture at all? To me that would take the authenticity out of it, it should be presented as it was.

Just my opinion of course. I mean, I'm no Sister Wendy or anything!!!

Just a bit of artistic licence to move the hand away from Copps' man-sausage..

The whole composition, and the faces etc are a great snap of a great moment.  This is a picture that our grandchildren will see when they look back at Rovers of the past.

It's only as filthy as you make it, it's not as though he's popped his old chap straight in Marquis' opened gob!

Bumped back up

The thread dedicated to the Shirt Auction(s) seems to show real interest in a corroboration between the Club and the Charity so can anyone run with this ?

I have the "signed" Brentford Penalty 17.8 second Photo and Text thing on my wall and I am thinking given Copps 500th Appearance and his goal together with us coincidentally happening to be wearing that special kit is an opportunity that is BEGGING to be followed up A post I have read earlier said that this is "one of those images that will endure long into the future."

I would call the image "Iconic" and I would love to buy one Signed by Copps who surely would not mind a couple of hours work and do my bit for Club and Charity.

Also for those that get logged out even after signing in forever the problem could be that if you run a cleaning programme ( which you should frequently do ) like ccleaner then it will wipe your log in details as they are a cookie. You just have to log back in again.

When I'm logged in I can see Wolfie's and bobjimwiily's picture, but when I'm logged out I can see bobjimwilly's only.

that was Wolf's original point BB, hence me linking to external image so people can see it whether or not they're logged in :aok:

Hi guys

I'd love to do that pic if the person who took it would allow me to - If anyone’s got an high res copy please let me know.

I'm busy at moment I've been asked to demonstrate how I paint and draw by some local groups and societies so I'm getting some practice in.
If people want to see how I'm doing checkout my FB page https://www.facebook.com/tyasartsite/ I'd love your feedback as I'm under the impression I can't advertise what I'm doing on here.

Sorry if I've upset anyone having put a link to my FB page. But my FB page is where I post my work to show people how I'm doing and my new projects. At the moment I've been asked to do a Jamie Vardy

Take care all.

Just liked your page Tiddysdad, I've always admired the Rovers related pieces you've put on here in the past.

:laugh:Brilliant . On when you are not logged onto the page, on bentley's crystal ball post, it says ''This is what the crystal ball has come up with'', and it's blank, must be a nil nil?.
