Can we have a big push to get has many fans down to make the Newport game
the man deserves a sell out
so let's make a big effort and encourage  friends and family to go
and can we have another long blast on the 26 th min of chanting.

Don't see why not, the man deserves every accolade we can shower upon him. Would be fantastic to see another Copps goal, at home this time, and another emphatic victory on the day. We HAVE to keep this momentum going.

To reiterate, THERE IS a #Copps500 tribute planned at home next week. The Festival d'Coppinger continues. We urge everyone to be there #drfc

Wonder if the number 26 might be part of the BB tribute, white and red card?

There's not going to be enough people in the ground to make a card display work so we've come up with something different.

He cost us £30,000 from Exeter all those years ago, didn't he? Five hundred games played; by my maths that equates to £60 per game. Not bad value, eh?

Bar his massively inflated wages - much like 90% of his performances...

Far more than 10%. And when he's not playing you soon notice the difference.

You're right. He was definitely missing on the pitch for most of last season...

And here he is the so called voice of reason, yet again trying to pick faults when something good occurs.

In fairness I was only pointing out that he costs us far more than £60 a game. I made a comment reference his performances which was half tongue in cheek - personally I think he's one of the most overrated players of my generation. That being said I'm not taking anything away from what he has achieved, not least of all racking up 500 appearances.
