The ref.
« on January 21, 2017, 05:57:00 pm by Prez »
Worst ive seen for a while. Hopeless.

On a lighter note, overheard a lady behind me on the way out..." Cant remember last time I saw Rovers score 3 at home"  :ermm:

The trip late on, on Copps, was a cast iron pen.
The ref had a great view but didn't react.
He made some bizarre decisions throughout the game.

Tosser even when Copps left leg was almost wrenched off in penalty area and from three yards he says "NO"

Joke ref, totally w**k. How the hell he never gave the penalty when Copps got his legs taken was nothing less than scandalous. On the other side, he never send Williams off for kicking out at one of their players.

Was the Copps trip the one in the second half? I thought he slipped but doesn't sound like it from what's being said here?

Ref was the same as away at Luton and decisions equally bizarre.
Foul on Copps was stone wall pen :crying:

Worst display from a referee this season - including Trevor Kettle. How their No. 5 stayed on the pitch is a mystery.

That was utterly ridiculous - it wasn't even debatable - the clearest deflection off Williams's shot - surely the linesman would have seen it though?

The massive change in ball flight made it so obvious.

The lino was even worse than the ref, never up with play in the 1st half missed at least 2 offsides never mind the corner that wasn't given. Ref missed 3 pens in 2nd half Copps, Rowe had his leg taken away and Williams was wrestled down at the far post JMHO

I couldnt make my mind up on the Ref and his oppos

I spent ages wondering whether when he got things wrong I call him a "Purple Prat" or a "Maroon Minger" but when it came down to it there was only one choice ..... African Violet a***hole

I've seen some bad decisions in my many years watching football but that has to be very near to the worst ever.
How could both the ref and linesman miss that?!

just put this from the vital donny site on the rate the ref section looking at the comments about him today does it say anything or what

"I cannot comment as I wasnt at the game but this summary from the Vital football site about him could  point   who knows

This will be the third time that he has taken charge of a Doncaster this season having been in charge of their 2-1 home defeat by Nottingham Forest in the League Cup and the 3-1 defeat at Luton Town in the league.

He has been in charge of Crewe once this season when they won 2-0 at Leyton Orient in October. "

He was shambolic, got loads wrong and probably has to go in the top 3 for the season with Kettle and Attwell.

I thought it was a certain pen on Copps and an easy decision to make. I just had the feeling he felt a tad sorry for Crewe who were having difficulty getting the ball of us.

There was a little nick as he went past their player had he gone down then free kick. Problem was he took another couple of steps and then went down maybe because he did not think he could get to the ball who knows, but it looked an obvious dive to me 1 decision the ref did get right JMHO

That is always a problem and you see it time and again. Refs should execute the Rules of the game irrespective of emotion and it is not long ago we were discussing what should have been a blatant Red Card for (cant remember the Team) in the first 2 Minutes. We scored from the Free Kick but they should have been a man down even so

I always go back to a Penalty NOT awarded to us after our flying start at Cardiff JPT Final. I cant remember the incident but being 2-0 up so quickly probably had the Ref thinking poor old Bristol when we looked to add to that score. I am convinced to this day that he thought they had "suffered enough" already and did not give it BUT what would he be thinking when it went back to 2-2 ?

We actually could have gone on to lose a game that we were winning convincingly and one where we MIGHT have been leading 3-0 if we had scored the Penalty

He was going very quickly, got clipped, ran on and then lost his balance. I was in the East yesterday so had a good view. Everyone around me thought the booking was harsh.

Agreed contact was made on Blair no question from my view in the south east stand.

The West Stand lino was n't allowed to make a decision, everytime the ball went out he waited for the ref to signal to him which way to flag. In my opinion the refs performance should be reviewed as standard procedure, every game is put on dvd nowadays, it would n't be hard to review any contravertial decision. Refs should n't be immune from action when they have not done their job properly

Its not just the lower Divisions Refs that are crap because some of the Refs in Prem have nightmares sometimes too - not helped by all the cheating and diving and play acting

How the hell did the Ref yesterday NOT give Man City a Penalty for the shove on Sterling for instance ? If they stood them down after a bad performance however there would be few of them left.

I agree yesterdays "performance" by our Officials at least 2 of them should have a long rest !
