He is on loan till the end of the season but does anyone know if his contract with Palace runs out this summer?

Isn't he at Bolton or somewhere over the hills, I think he extended his deal with Palace. last summer

Oh don't start with this malarky. Surely little Donny Rovers can't stretch to the likes of Anderson on top of Grant, Mason and Houghton?

Can we?!

I wouldn't think so with contracted forwards Williams, May, Mandeville & Marquis all in the books

He's at Northampton. Hat trick on full debut and not scored since I believe.

Drop him into attacking mid behind Marquis and Williams

Perfect for us and a tilt at promotion.

He'll be on Fergies radar don't worry about that.

Now that would be a spectacular midfield although McCullough at defensive mid would be busy on his own !!

On the subs bench majority of time for a team in the bottom half of the table.

Not sure that he would bring much, if any, more to the team we currently have.

Sounds like he hasn't re descovered his form since his injury, could be better options out there for us

I wouldn't.. Williams is a proven scorer at that level, and a different kind of player..

I don't understand the obsession with him. Yes he looked good when we had him but he played was it five games and didn't really it for Bolton, who are at the business end of the division.

Yes but Fergy was not coaching him then.

Doesn't mean a lot, it's not a given if you play for Northampton Town and then come to us you'll do good.

Absolute nonsense. What sort of logic is this?

We once signed a striker who was an outcast at Bramall Lane and ended up being a star for us, should we go for all their rejects?

I think Anderson is a No 10, not an out and out striker. If we're looking medium to longer term to replace Copps in that free role, this is our man.

We know he's got a cheeky side to his game and is quite skillful with an eye for goal (and pacey).

He reminds me is Griezmann a bit. A second strike who appears here there and everywhere. A bit like a number 10 as you say but not a classic No10 who prefers to create.

I'd sign James Vaughan from Bury. Best player in L1.

just saying ... KA's twitter account is very pro Rovers just now !

Hardly to be honest, hes not actually tweeted anything himself. Just retweeted two tweets that say were promoted.
He also regularly tweets Palace,Bolton,Northampton stuff etc.  I don't think we will go back in for him and I'm not too bothered about signing him anyway now.

It was obvious that comment was tongue in cheek.

Championship striker when he's fit, he's just one of them players that could miss 6 months too easily.

He's had some bad injuries without doubt. Still only young though.

Could be a gamble worth taking especially if Bury go down, a fit Vaughan would score shit loads for us.
