Genuine point, going up straight away could be a disaster, it would potentially be too much too quick. I would be happy with a good season challenging ready to go next year.I would love promotion but don't want it if we aren't ready.
I don't see how any club can be sustainable on the Championship without spending a lot of money.

We've signed Mason, Lawlor, Marosi, McCullough, Wright, Garratt and Kiwomya - all under 24 and any of which could be sold off for profit. The potential to be a club like that is there. For a club our size this is what we should be aiming for, anyone who wants us our owners to cough up for million pound signings every pre-season needs a reality check.

Don't count McSheffery out as being a "signing"
The amount players to choose from runs into the 1000s . Blackpool got promotion to the Premier League using more than 20 loan players in a season . Extrapolate of this what you may but I say DF is not waiting but being told to wait.
