The Crow

Not very good in the air, and came done with a bump a few times, not worth a contract in my opinion 😀

Discussion in the West stand involving our ornithologists was, is it a crow, rook or jackdaw ? Perhaps someone will confirm. I noticed that our bench stood solid while the visitors took shelter on the low pass.

Me and my mate claimed crow but our knowledge of birds of the feathered variety is limited. We then went on to wonder why no team has the nickname "The Crows" and that they could play in black etc.

Another club will probably offer him 50p more a week and snatch him from us.

It can fly, but only about a foot off the ground, I think it's trying to stay under the radar

It was funny watching it. Mind you, it was just as involved in the game as Steven Taylor was last week. Sign it up. Our new sweeper! 😊

It can't fly well because it's still learning to fly.

It can't fly well because it's still learning to fly.

It's a slow learner then, it was doing the same last week, and it must have flown at some point to get into the stadium

It could have been born in the stadium , a nest in the rafters may be.

Slow learner? Could well have been a rookie.

Might be just shit at flying which is rather unfortunate for a bird!

Maybe it's frightened of heights? Now that's terrible for a bird!

There is a saying that if you see a Rook on its own its a Crow - and if you see more than 2 Crows they are Rooks

I think I'm right in saying that a Crow has 3 tail feathers, whereas a Raven has 4. These are called Pinions.

So it's a matter of a Pinion what it is.
