Mandeville

I just find him fascinating to watch. I don't think we should be too surprised he's the pre-season top scorer yet, he's a mere slip of a youth who defenders will hardly feel threatened by.

He's got the starting berth for me alongside Marquis. What do you think?

I dont think you will be far wrong Baz, he is playing without fear, and has the talent to kick on big time.

Within a year I can see him leaving us purely because he'll have proven himself too good. Has great ability and guile, deceptively so because he looks anout as threatening as a chihuahua when you look at him, then he gets the ball at his feet and works wonders. Looking forward to seeing how he does with a run of games this season.

Nothing on him just seems to drift around people avoiding physical contact-he's a very intelligent player.

If he keeps this up he won't be here long, developing very well and great to see.

Didn't he sign a new long term one last season? He can play in the prem in the future, he reads the game well and has the technique to match

He looks to have a lot of potential but I'd say it's extremely unlikely that he plays in the Prem.

When you think of Copps and Mandeville at comparative ages, I think Mandeville is ahead on points. You may recall Copps being a little boy lost at times so if Mandy matures and develops at a similar rate he has a bright future.

I think Marquis got frustrated with him a couple of times for not backing him up when trying to press but Liam will learn.

On the two friendlies I've seen Marquis needs to get his head back to where it was pre Grimsby last season, his body language to me last night night suggested he was pissed off with something

Reminds me of Franny Jeffers (Everton wonderkid/Arsenal flop) in how he plays.

Very good call. Languid and scruffy looking.

Said it last season when he first broke onto the scene but he brings Kitch to my mind, just in the way he seems to breeze past players.

Mandy is a load of rubbish.............

Mandy will be lucky to score 30 goals this season, trust me!

He's one of our own, he's one of our own,

 Mandy Mandy,

he's one of our own.

Christ I bet you're the life of the party. I can just imagine you telling the groom at a wedding reception he'll be divorced within a year.

I don't want to get carried away, but its hard as this lad looks the real deal.
He looks too young to be on the pitch but once hes on the ball you can see his talent.

I think Copps lost his way at Newcastle and was mixing with a bad crowd, was sent to Exeter for his own good - turned things round and earned the title legend
Hopefully he can aid Mandevilles development. He is getting better all the time so credit to DF and his team

150-1 on Sky Bet to be top scorers if anyone's brave enough. ;)

There are worse bets out there, you'd probably get a bigger price elsewhere as well.

I suspect he'll be on penalty duty so that's a head start.
