I know, one poor month out of 9 excellent ones and only rovers fans would bang on about that one month

One poor month in nine you say.
Conveniently forgetting that we only won once in February, no wins in the last five games in April, one league win in August and the same in September.

We didnt play in June and July so they don't count either.

That is four poor months in seven.

We won every single game in January last season, we also got 10 points from 15 in march.

Don't squash the myth, Dickos. Fans will keep finding a way to write off our excellent promotion last season so long as it serves the "Fergie out" agenda.

Not that difficult

Just revisited that and nowhere does it say you were talking about nine months over last season.
Recent history is what really counts so I refer you back to my point, four bad months in the last seven that we have played.

We were talking about the promotion season, somebody suggested our season fell apart from the turn of the year onwards, it didn't,
We had one bad month out of 9 in the season, yet people pick up on the one bad month which by the way was after promotion was clinched

Sorry but I still can't see where that is written, but even so, February was poor too in the promotion season.

Do you honestly think there's any side in the country that goes 9 months without a slight blip?
It's ridiculous, we had a couple of games that we didn't win. So what? We got promoted with 5 games to spare.
Enjoy it don't start looking at months where we drew a few games
It's crazy

What about months where we collapsed spectacularly after having 9 fingers on the trophy twice?

with all this talk about fergie v dickov people must be presuming fergie was allowed by blunt to get the players he wanted during the 1st transfer window he was in charge

No,
Jonnydog deleted his post that stated our season fell apart from beginning of Jan last season

Which is probably why you couldn't see what I was on about earlier

Comparing Fergie to Dickov is ludicrous anyway. If we are going to say a manager is alright because he's better than dickov then we may as well just pack in now.

I agree
But it all started by someone suggesting dickov was better than fergie, and used incorrect stats to back it up

Nobody was suggesting fergie must be good cause he's better than dickov, it's not even comparable

He didn't
The whole thing started cause of this

'Ferguson has a worse points per game average than Paul Dickov, just to put things into perspective.

Dickov has, in this league, with this club, a far worse point per game record than Ferguson.

Separate to this, the recent record of Ferguson in this league, with both Peterborough and Rovers is almost exactly one point per game.

Currently, ten games, nine points.

We not mentioning his promotions then? Cause I guarantee you'd be mentioning his relegations if they'd been relegated and not promoted.

with all this talk about fergie v dickov people must be presuming fergie was allowed by blunt to get the players he wanted during the 1st transfer window he was in charge

Didn't DF go on record as saying he was happy with what he had and didn't need to sign anyone?

Relegated, Fergie doesn't know how to turn around a bad spell.
