Looks like your memory is spot on Hound, game was called off gone midday due to waterlogging. That's the only instance I can recall though and that day half the EFL fixtures went due to the same reason so the country must have had a deluge.

I actually confirmed it by reading an old Rovers 606 thread manned by our dearly departed forum member Derek, aka "newyankee". He was also expressing dismay that "Fuzzyduck" had left the site, whatever happened to him? I'm sure he had an account on here too.

Both were very strong supporters of our club. WE know what happened to Derek but I have always been concerned about Fuzzy! He was incredible with the level of detailed input with his postings. I do have his email details and I will try and make contact with him again.
