All Garrett needed to do was go to the ball, mason had got back to cover the bloke in the middleBut he just ran towards the goal which helped nobody, possibly the worst bit of defending I've ever seen.
Disagree If garratt runs to the ball even if he's left a man the bloke has to pass it and there's a good chance Garratt would block the pass.Running with the other player is ok for so long but there comes a time when he has to go to the ball otherwise the player has a free shot on goal It's basic defending
Look here, he's just ran in a straight line to our goal. Mason is in a position to deal with the bloke in the middle, garret going to the ball would've given their player a decision to make. Running away from their player did nothing at all to help the situation

No way was it a penalty when Marquis missed that easy chance in the first half.
Personally I would play Danny Amos at left back. He is a much better player than Garrett. Why is it other clubs will give teenagers a chance but we always seem reluctant to unless it is a checkatrade or whatever game?
