Even though it says "In the same mold as Alfie Beestin", it's surely a player from the FL if they say about the contractual stuff? Most of the younger players at the lower levels will be on part-time contracts etc and their clubs would surely be delighted to announce that one of their players has gone to the Football League?
It is most likely to be the Irish lad we are linked to in the rumour mill.
As long as he's got a 4 minutes highlights clip on YouTube, I'll be satisfied he's a tremendous player.
So, we are are going for a lean, cut-down more versatile squad and yet we are signing a player prone to ankle injuries. Doh!. That makes sense.

I would suggest he doesn't fit the 'one for the future' tag!
Don't be too quick to criticise, Michael, if it's the lad who I now think it may be, then we are signing what looks to me like a very good prospect. Hope it is the lad I'm thinking, as, if it is, he'll not be playing many games for the Development team next season!
Hearing now Rovers will be able to announce the signing I’ve been alluding to early next week #drfc Hoden on Twitter
Don't now think it's the one I was thinking of, but could be someone from deepest darkest Lincolnshire.

It's not Timmy Mallett. I know that for certain.
Is it also that the league of Ireland ends this weekend?
