Don’t get me wrong really happy that copps is staying but he was always going to stay. It’s not like he was going to sign with another club... feeling underwhelmed if Im honest. With the news ment to be a big boost, I thought it would be some sort of investment and not a new 1 year deal for club legend

He described it as a big boost. I think Copps has had two excellent seasons but ultimately he's a 37 year old now. We've retained the status quo, not added a big boost. I don't think it's too much to be expecting a Copps replacement this year to push forward.

Personally, I do see this as a big boost.

The quality of football last season was at times so dire that seeing Copps in action was one of the few exciting things about watching Rovers.

Great news we have him for another 12 months (minimum).

   Thought it would be this, Copps was on twitter a couple of weeks ago saying he was resting up ready for playing in his new Rovers shirt next season.
  I think it has been a done deal for a while, and credit to them they have milked it, and kept in the news,and the fans interest for a couple of weeks.
  Most new players will be at the end of June, its good publicity drip feeding good news in the quiet part of the off season.

Agree with that what will we do when and if we sign three quality players that we need not last years player.

It is a boost though. It'd always be described as that and whilst I certainly wasn't sure that's what it'd be when Hoden said it, it was the clear #1 thought.

I honestly don't think we need a replacement for him this summer as we have Beestin who is coming on well, but either way the summer is barely beginning so people shouldn't be disappointed at this stage (if they are). We've already signed two players which is more than many clubs, and in fact the season isn't even over properly until after this weekend.
