I see that Ronaldo has signed for Juventus. He’s been quoted as “The time has come to open a new stage in my life, that's why I asked the club to accept transferring me.”Oh, for crying out loud! Don’t treat us football fans as morons. You moved for one reason, and one reason only: one final payout. Nothing wrong in that; why not be honest and just admit it, instead of making cringeworthy comments like “to open a new stage in my life.”
My thoughts are Italian football is a lot slower so he will still excel as he starts to dip in the coming years. A clever move.
They've probably just guaranteed the Serie A title next season as well.
Juventus are the only club over there that could realistically afford him, given the way that income streams and stadium ownership operate in Italy. They've probably just guaranteed the Serie A title next season as well.
Anyone else doesn’t give a flying f**k apart from me.?

It goes to show one thing, the commercial side of the game at the top level must be absolutely massive..On the face of it 100million plus huge wages for a 33 year old player who may have already peaked will have no resale value at the end of his contract sounds absolutely bananas on the face of it.
