Postponements can be puzzling at times; for instance the game against Wimbledon last season was postponed for a seemingly waterlogged pitch, and yet there was nowhere near as much rain that day as when we played Blackburn; the rain before that game was torrential, and the players were running through pools of water all night, and yet the game survived. Strange.
Why do we insist on watering the pitch when it’s been raining all night and most of the day?Saw several players slip on the pitch today and I think Wright slipped to give the 4th goal away. Surely it didn’t need watering today
