And a run of games coming up where we should do ok. If we can get 14-15 from the next 7 games, we're we'll set for the final lap.
If we pick up the same amount of points over the next 22 games we will have 76 points. Good enough for a playoff place
I'm not saying TAKE one game at a time. I'm saying ENJOY one game at a time. It's not all about the destination. Not for me anyway. It's about the journey.
There are no gimmies. Each game will be taken on merit, you can guarantee McCann will see to that. However, we have a conundrum. How do we avoid 'Manager of the Month' for December?

Good enough for a playoff placeIt would be in normal years. The way results have planned out in the first half of the season though, the side with the 6th best form (us) is on course for 79 points. I think 80 points is the highest that any side finishing 6th has ever got. So we might well be in a season where the sides at the top get exceptionally high points totals. Bearing in mind that we only got 85 when we won the league in 12/13.
Worry about March when we get to it. For now, I'd prefer to enjoy how we're playing at the moment and for us to rack up as many points as possible in the next 7-10 matches. Keep playing like we are doing at the minute and there's every chance we could be breathing down the top two's necks by March.
