Wolves largely played a very strong side today with lots of ammo on the Bench as I think they think the Cup is a viable target for Silverware !

Drawing them would be great for me personally but if they were going to go "weak" they would probably have done it today - and they didnt

So would make no sense for them to do it in next Round

I’d love Manure away but it’s either the wombles, Newport or Brizzle away because we never get the big team

Lets get one of the smaller teams and get further in the cup. We're two games from wembley, and noone would remember we beat newport county in the fifth round.

Save a big club for the final!

Wimbledon away, max 725 tickets. That’s a lot of pissed off supporters.

Theoretically.. if Pompy and Shrews were to lose in their respective replays, and we drew Wimbledon (the last 2 teams from league 1) then how much roughly would that match be worth to the winner?

It’s a fair point. Has any club ever moved their fixture to another ground?

A lot. 250k bonus prize plus 360k for progressing to quarter finals, plus gate money plus tv if televised

In that sense, Wimbledon at home almost verges on a brilliant tie. Market it as the (almost) million pound game or something.

In front of 4800 supporters. That would surely be a record for the lowest rd5 attendance ever ?

Clubs with some FA Cup pedigree emerging. Wimbledon, Millwall, Portsmouth in addition to Man U and Spurs.

Realistically, other than drawing Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Chelsea, we have a competitive chance.

I could be completely misremembering here but I’m almost sure that a few years ago we played Rushden in the FA cup and the winner had Leeds at home in the next round, I am almost sure that when Rushden won, both teams agreed to move the game to Elland road, as I say though I could be misremembering

Farnborough definitely moved their tie with Arsenal from their own ground to Highbury 15-20 years ago. It's happened a few times but I highly doubt Wimbledon v Doncaster would justify a change of venue.

I didn't realise until now how few Premier League sides are left. Presuming Chelsea and Spurs win tomorrow, it's them, Man Utd, Man City and Watford. Brighton and Wolves in replays and the rest all EFL clubs. If we get a home tie in R5 we've a genuine chance of a first ever Quarter Final no matter who comes here in my opinion.

Unless it's City in which case we'll be brutally sodomised probably in front of the nation.

I suspect you’re right, but it would be a shame if we drew them away as I think our away allocation is roughly the same as their entire ground, so for the fans it’d be better at home, (should we draw them) but even if it were possible they would never give up home advantage to travel to the grim north

Reckon it might be 9 but it certainly would not be 0 if we draw city.

Quite a few draws, so we may have to wait a while before we know our opponents.

I think it would be good to avoid the big guns.  Another home game against someone like Shrewsbury   Progress to the last 8.  Would be awesome
