How bizarre.

In summary he thinks:

That if a player commits a stupid error of choice, the other side has a moral responsibility not to take advantage.

So when Wilks gifted them the ball for their first goal, they were unethical and should have given it back to us?

What a load of gonads :silly:

Off the pitch, getting treatment and had been for a while.
Presumably the next time he's at the Dentist we need to stop playing as well.

Exactly my thought. That's a perfect analogy. Wilks was meaning well. He just made an honest but stupid mistake. It was unfair of them to take advantage of it.

What a sad case. Bet he'll shut his eyes tonight and dream of Wilks, Sadlier and McCann. Pathetic and after today, I would not be sad to see Peterborough slide right down the league.

Deluded doesn't begin to cover it.

Ferguson took us down from a similar position to what a Peterbro are in now.
Mind you, he had an extra month to get there.

That is one of the most bitter and pathetic pieces of writing I’ve ever seen from a local journo.

Report your view on the incidents, fair enough. But to have little unnecessary digs at McCann, Sadlier and others just smacks of sour grapes. His view on the officials’ performance is one-sided too, he was shite for both teams on the whole.

I found the officials unpredictable to say the least.. Toney was a walking yellow card but they got the Wilks yellow right..

But I was sure that chance was over the line and the lino missed it.. then he didn’t flag for offside when one of their throw in takers on the opposite corner received the ball back..

We got what we expected from the officials yesterday. Boyeson is the new Trevor Kettle. He's terrible.

What is impressive though is how he's managed to assemble a team by finding 2 equally inept linesmen.  The bald one on the West Stand side was particularly toilet.

I really don’t think this article is that bad and was expecting far worse having read the comments above. I disagree with his view on the third goal (as it seems most of us do) but I’ve no doubt if the boot was on the other foot the mood would be different, and at least he criticises Toney’s attempts to get Wilks sent off and also the time wasting.

Why would your team be timewasting 25 minutes into a game Darren? You tell us.

One of the few things the ref got right was making an example of him and booking him for blatant time wasting. They were at it from the moment they scored. Maddison even did a daft little play-acting thing where he feigned like he was in a hurry to pick up the ball for a throw in near the East Stand.

Stinks of Steve Evans, and the sooner Ferguson can stamp that out they might have more of a chance. It ultimately cost them yesterday cos I think we would’ve struggled to win if it had stayed 11v11.

I’m sure not only me noticed Toney taking an age to get back for the restart after their goal

Horrible club with an equally horrible owner , their demise is always a thing of beauty .

Kicked off with them again this season when they limited our ticket allocation at London Road earlier in the season to 1800 , they gave Luton over 3k .

Retaliation for us signing Kieffer Moore when they thought he was heading their way and called foul play , McAnthony even told a pack of lies on how much we were paying him .

Load of bull it was , if we paid that kind of money none of better players would ever leave and that's hardly the case given our recent history .

... and where :

a) the Clock should stop as soon as a goal is given and not restart until the Ref blows the whistle for the kick off

OR

We should get on with FIFA proposal to have a fixed 30 minutes each way with the clock stopping every time the ball goes out of play. Cuts out the Goal over celebrations - the time wasting throw ins Goal kicks etc - and feigning of injuries. Also as we saw yesterday ball goes out for Throw in - player chases it and boots it as far as possible All gone for good !

It is if they have a run of 2 points from 14 games like we had under Herr Lipp.

Wolfie.. The above 30 mins each half with the clock stopped when the balls out of play was a Tommy Toes idea about 20 years ago. 😐

I noticed that Maddison thing mate.
Credit to the ballboy for spotting it too and getting the ball and sending it back down the line to another player to throw it in.

They wasted time blatantly from the moment they scored.

Ferguson also moans about not keeping eleven players on the pitch.
Very easy to see why.

He is conveniently forgetting at least three good scoring chances we had, Marquis missing with his far post volley from Wilks cross.
A great save by the keeper after Wilks got free in the box and the one that the defender headed into the post.
Three nil up at half time my arse.

The man is  now a confirmed idiot.

We should have had a penalty as well. Marquis was in on goal, about to pull to trigger and got tripped from behind.

Mind you, both Boyeson and the lino were way behind play.

Mind you, Herbie always seems to have to re-tie his boot laces whenever we score, if we are in front at least.
