Best named footballer ever ? Justin Amaluzor
« on March 02, 2019, 07:19:49 pm by Colemans Left Hook »
I've been sort of watching the non league game Solihull Motors (for years i thought they were called that) v Maidenhead and suddenly after 87 minutes heard the above gentleman's name - shows how much attention i had been paying.

Justin Amaluzor  can't help but wonder what his girlfriend sees in him.

and guess what Maidenhead are in the relegation places. They lost 5-0 today

perhaps paddy power ought to have him for one of their adverts instead of ryan gigg's brother ?

Apparently the club was named after a merger between two clubs, Moor Green and Solihull Borough.
Could have been Greenborough I suppose.

Aye. There was one to beat it.

Kevin Amankwah for Yeovil.

That immortal commentary by Brian Bradley on Radio Sheffield.

"Na den. Oo's dis coming on? Kevin Amawan...Na den! Ah cornt seh dat ahl gerrin some reight trouble."

Max Power, not just the name itself but it reminding me of an old Simpson's episode too.

The Portuguese goalie called Quim was quite amusing, and the Germans in Euro 96 Fuchs and Kuntz, and that French player called Djorkaeff.?

I thought one of the reasons Charlton finished strong on Saturday was down to Dijksteel.

Meanwhile, Blackpool were doomed at Bristol on introducing Virtue-Thick and Jo Dodoo. Virtue-Thick has to be the crappest name going.

sorry mate you seem to have missed all my posts about him over the last few months he is trying to drop the "thick" bit from his name can't understand why X Liverpool then Notts county earlier this season

that doddo bloke scored a hattrick for LEICESTER in some game say a couple of years ago and for a few games was the best thing since sliced bread

here he is

He came through the youth academy at Leicester City, and made his debut for them in August 2015, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in a 4–1 win at Bury. Later that year, he had a one-month loan at Bury. In July 2016, he signed a four-year deal at Rangers. Dodoo has made limited appearances for the Rangers first team, and has been loaned to Charlton Athletic and Blackpool.

There was a player a few years ago called Dave Kitson. How unfortunate for the poor bugger!
