f**k it

Players who won’t be here next get dropped I.e haven’t sign up or on loan, start the bench from today plus any youth team player expecting to be a squad player next season.

Thought Blair was ok today,
Downing was poor, I would’ve thought Butler was a better physical match for kee rather than Anderson

Didn't do anything wrong in the second half.

Sorry. Typo. Didn't do ANYTHING in the second half. He looked like a 12 year old wandering around in a pub league match.

I think Rowe has been good recently, and was trying to make things happen tonight.

Crawford on the other hand, Jesus. I rate the guy and think he’s a very good player but I don’t think the lad has found a Rovers shirt with a pass since mid-March.

We missed Butler tonight, they were winning headers they wouldn't have with him in the side, also lacked his determination & commitment, another selection bo--ock dropped by the manager for me.

Rowe didn't do much in midfield and refused to get shots away when well placed in the second half. Not a fan of his display tonight.

We had two right footed slow centre halves, so they played two balls down our left channel for runners, and bingo 2-0.
And where was our left sided experienced central defender, sat on the bench resting, and with Coppinger two players who had played a big part in winning four games in a row one game ago, taking no part, a monumental bollock.

Nah, he isn’t. He’s not uncomfortable on it but he’s still a right footed player.

I was watching him tonight and he was always trying to get it onto his left. And when he couldn’t he used his right and looked like our lass trying to kick it

If you  go to the games regularly, you have seen Butler deal with that ball loads of times.
Anderson had a chance to deal with it and went for the ball with the wrong foot, and got done on the outside for pace.

I don't know why we abandoned 4-2-3-1. It worked for four games. Since we went back to 4-3-3 we've lost both games.

Rowe was head and shoulders above the rest first half (not saying a lot I know) - he was the only one playing with any dynamism or looking like he could make anything happen. His 2nd half performance couldn’t have been more different though - utterly, utterly anonymous. I spent the first 15 minutes trying to work out who had been subbed off given I hadn’t seen Crawford, May or Rowe since they came back out of the tunnel.

I’d still start Rowe on Saturday if Copps isn’t back, purely because, right now, he’s a better option than Crawford.

I’d go back to the 4231. I know in essence that are similar formations but the 433 we play is brilliant when we are bang on it and dominating sides but there seems no margin for error. If we are off our game we look dreadful and become far to easy to open up.

It strikes me that when we are performing below par we never see any on field leadership from the captain and especially not from Rowe .
We desperately need a Leader like Bremner !

Marosi

Lewis
Anderson
Downing
Andrew

Whiteman
Rowe

Wilks
Copps
Sadlier

Marquis

Kane has been immense for us but he needs dropping, Sadlier for May is obvious. Rowe gets in ahead of Crawford. And I'm sorry but you don't drop your 20 goals a season striker when you need to win.

You would drop Kane??? Not a chance he could be the difference.
Just because he has had a couple of off days you would drop a player who has made this team tick.
Thought second half last night he was very influential in our build up play.
To leave him out would be madness. Just my opinion of course.

4-3-3 to me seems one dimensional, there doesn’t seem to be any fluidity. It’s a straight ball out to the wing and try and take on your man

Fair comments. I genuinely think Kane is different class and wouldn't complain if he started but he's been real poor recently. Think Rowe has been better on the whole although he was poor last night.

Sadlier should be a starter and probably more central quality on the ball.
