I'd sooner be in Rovers position than Peterborough that's for sure , it's in your own hands and at this stage of the season you can't ask for anymore really .

Not only that you are at home to a team with nothing to play for other than professional pride .

Key thing for me is John Marquis , he's had a lean spell but scored last week at Oxford to end that poor spell .

Strikers like Marquis tend to score their goals in clusters , he'll bag you two on saturday evening and you will make it .

Any idea of attendance for Sat? I've bought my tickets online and they were only showing around 1500 seats left in the home end. I realise they will keep some back for segregation and season tickets

If it makes any of you feel better about your current position look at how Wall got promoted a couple of years back. We scraped a 4-3 win with an 85th minute winner at Bristol Rovers in the last match of the season to grab the last play off spot. This was followed up with an uninspiring draw at home to Scunny who we then beat 3-2 at their place, to set us up for a 1-0 victory over Bradford City at Wembley. So anything is possible from where you are now.

Appart from qualifying from the league table it  has nothing to do with the playoffs.
It is another mini competition altogether different, a knock out competition winner takes all, and every team in the mix start on completely the same footing, no points, play one game at home and one away, and a final  if they qualify at the national stadium.

I've seen Coventry 3 times this season , twice on SKY and at Oakwell .

They are a very attacking side with some very good technical players , very good to watch and they do carry a goal threat .

However they can be very vulnerable at the back and susceptible to the counter attack , a very young side that can be naive at times .

Definitely easier opponents to face under such circumstances , they took 4 points off ourselves and Sunderland but the league table says they are simply one of the best of the rest teams outside of the top 6 .

First goal is huge I feel .

The first goal is always huge.
We have lost only one game this season where we scored first.

Any body else feeling nervous yet. I can’t believe how i anxious i feel.
I can’t sleep properly & i am prancing around the house like an expectant father and consequently driving the wife crazy.
Is it just me who needs to get a grip or is there anyone else feeling the same as me?
It feels like Cheltenham 2008 or Brentford 2013 all over again.
Are there tablets you can take for what i have got?

No - no Tablets will cure this !

For me it is less stressful than those 2 ever were. Dont know why ! My stress what there is comes from my fervent hope that we finish above Posh for obvious reasons.

It might be going to be another of those "twitchy" days but hopefully we can score early on as we have in some games and take the events elsewhere (and the Ref) out of the equation

Paul,  Take big breaths, a cup of coffee, and go for a walk in Campsall Park with the dog.
Then panic some more, it won't be any good to you.

Have been doing that already (without the dog as lost her 18months ago ) and it’s not working.
Any more ideas Brian?

Anyway i have just returned from my 20th walk this week around Campsall Park ( well slight exaggeration ) and have been doing a lot of contemplating about tomorrow’s match. There’s a surprise then.
We the supporters are going to be the difference. Yes I do know the players will be up for it but what will make them give that extra 5% is us the fans.
I don’t know whether everyone realises how much difference serious vocal support makes to the players performance.
Well for any one who doesn’t know, IT IS MASSIVE.
The 3,000 in the South stand are going to be the difference between success or failure. The south stand need to make more noise than they have EVER DONE BEFORE not for 15 mins but 90+ mins
If we go a goal down that is when they need to make EVEN MORE NOISE not go into the usual silence.
If they do then we will prevail. I am absolutely convinced the noise level will be the difference.
SO COME ON FOLKS LETS BE THE DIFFERENCE.

The Peterborough Telegraph's 5 reasons why they could sneak it.

 1) Momentum is with us. Posh have lost once in their last seven League One games. Doncaster haven’t won any of their last three and they lost their last home match to Accrington Stanley (who are they?).

2) Doncaster would have expected to wrap up sixth place on Tuesday, but instead Posh stayed alive by claiming a superb win at Pompey. Doncaster are suddenly under pressure again and they might not cope.

3) Burton are a very good side in good form, but they arrive at the ABAX Stadium with nothing to play for and they will be heavily outnumbered in the crowd. In contrast Coventry will be backed by at least 2,000 fans at the Keepmoat Stadium. They’ll expect a strong showing from their side.

4) Coventry have the seventh best away record in League One. They are the only side to have won at Sunderland this season, they also drew at Luton and Barnsley, as well as playing well and deservedly beating Posh at the ABAX. Burton have won just six of 22 away games and five were against struggling sides (Coventry was the exception).

5) The Posh boss is a multiple promotion-winner. The Doncaster boss isn’t.

Point 3 is utter shit too. Burton are on the beach, but Coventry won't be because they have a decent fanbase? Load of rubbish.

Not an endearing bunch, Peterborough, are they?

Just the local press trying to talk them up. Grasping at straws really.
The fact is Peterborough have to win and hope we don’t.  End of.

Watch out  Peterborough Burton have the best GD outside the top six and won their last game to Luton :ermm:
