Thing is though, I could post all this stuff you're saying - because it is all reasonable to infer from events around the club - and claim someone important has told me it all. It's just irritating to be honest and I'm not surprised people are objecting to it.

You might well be mates with Bramall/Watson/Blunt/McCann/Donny Dog or whomever, but while you keep doing this "I know this and that" without really elaborating on how, people will challenge it.

Its not partial information he’s just not telling you who’s told him.
Which is understandable isn’t it

Why do you need to know who told him though, if he says that he’s unlikely to continue getting information

As IDM says, missing the point. Just don't say anything in that case, honestly. It's the half in, half out of it all. If I knew something "in the know" I doubt I'd be broadcasting it on the forum openly, it comes off sometimes like redarmy82 is just triyng to look important. I'm not saying that is what he is doing, but it's one of the reasons people have been objecting to it this week.

Yes it is partial information if it’s not backed up, such as a link to a tweet etc.

And looking at his/her posts about Andrew, it definitely is partial information.!

It's partial information ebcause Andrew doesn't want it posted everywhere. I merely said what he later said in his own Tweet.

If he doesn’t want it posted then don’t even mention it..

Why say there is another side to the story if you can tell the story.??

Don’t you get it.?

Could make him an absolute hero by staying at Rovers. He has time here; if we had a nightmare and finished 17th next season, he'd still be backed. At Hull, he'd be gone by Christmas.

Back to the original question.

It’s disastrous basically. One step forward and two back.

Been told no more transfers in until the situation is resolved.

Understandable.

SM, tell them to announce someone just to prove this wrong x

Why though?
It’s upto you whether you believe the information or not.
If you knew a player or an official and was told something that was of interest what’s wrong with sharing it, without having to tell everyone who told you

Alternatively it’s people who claim to be in the know, even if genuine, posting to somehow make themselves look superior.?

It’s not ideal but far from a disaster.

We’ve had the absolute core of our play off reaching team stripped out, our top goal scorer for the last three years is on his way and now the manager is off.

Please tell me what else would need to happen in your opinion for this not to be a disaster.

Doing what SM - not bringing anyone else until it is resolved or announcing a new player anyway?

Could be mostly the drivel and whinging on here that GM has read and maybe he thinks he can’t do right for wrong.
We have so morons that just want to moan for moaning sake and be negative

I take your point IDM, I think I made point poorly.

and I accept that RA you clearly see the emotion I attached to my comment.

I maintain that if GM accepts the approach from Hull he no longer is on my Christmas card list.

The show goes on.

Understood, at least you have the decency to explain what you mean unlike others on here..

For what it’s worth, managers get head hunted all the time, so if GM goes then so be it.. difficult, undoubtedly but what will be will be..

Didn’t we head hunt S O’D.?

I would consider it a disaster if we didn’t have a board whom I’m confident would go out and recruit a good manager (if need be), would support our manager in recruiting players who are of a standard to replace any players leaving and didn’t have a scouting network to find a replacement good enough to replace JM.

We have all of those.
Will that do?

The best thing the club can do is convince GM that he can get the players that will make us stronger to be able to be  promoted this season. Then he’s no need to leave.

I can't wait to to see the back of him but I think he's making a huge mistake because I think if Ross at Sunderland has a slow start to the season or they have a poor run of results Sunderland would've been kicking our door down to take him and their former youth player and coach Byrne to the Stadium of Light.
