I voted for Appleton but am swaying towards Moore if he can demonstrate an intent to play a more expansive game than some have suggested he achieved.

Whoever get's the job will have to be onside with all the usual requirements, including community stuff, youth development, representing Club Doncaster, and playing attractive football. That excludes several of the ones on the list.

For one, I can't see Evans getting near the club.

Just seen Benitez is leaving Newcastle. Obviously after a bigger job in DN. Get him on the shortlist, bloody shite Bramhall!

Can't see Keane been any good at the community stuff now you mention it!

Evans odds going back out again. Now 5/4.  New names popped up in Gary McSheffrey and Chris Coleman. McSheffery has been coaching our u18s so would offer some continuity

Defo no to Coleman. The blokes is a massive fraud of a manager.

Why? Just because he's straight to the point. I actually think he would and have time for it all.

David Flitcroft seems to fit the bill with the Club Doncaster model.

*Young manager (45)
*40% win rate
*Fairly clean slate

Not saying that he's a 1st choice but out of the front runners, the face seems to fit.

I have never tried to amend a Wiki page.
Was it easy to do?

I wish I could take credit for it, but I would edit the page of a bloke I wanted to be manager!! As previously mentioned, 'flitters' is a big no no for me

I told Wiki about a fault on a page relating to an ancestor of mine who was a footballer and they told me I could update the page myself.
So it is quite worrying that data can be so easily changed when we all expect it to be accurate.

I suspect this information is inaccurate as it is too early for any appointment.

Another with plenty of positives on their CV. Moore, Appleton and Flitcroft all worthy of consideration.

Flitcroft would be a hugely underwhelming appointment.

That’s what most thought about GM isn’t it? Didn’t turn out too bad apart from the way he left us.
Not saying i want Flitcroft but sometimes it is not the higher profile names that are the best choices.
