Stretchered off around the 20 minute mark. No CHs on the bench so Sheaf fills in at CB. Blair comes on into midfield.

Didn't look good, off the ball and knee just seemed to collapse after making a pass, normally the more serious ones them one's.

Let's hope John and Wright are close and ready to be in the team soon or we may need another CB.

Always the risk when you sign injury prone players.

Injuries can happen at any time, to any player.  Remember Michael Owen at the start of the World Cup that time.?

He's made 529 career appearances. Averaged 39 appearances a season from the age of 19 onwards.

Done well to manage that as a crock.

Of course it’s a risk. And it’s a real shame too as he’s a decent player. But you only have to look at the number of games he’s played in recent years vs the number of games Butler played... and you can see why it leaves us weaker. It was obvious.

There’s plenty of news stories on google on the injuries he's suffered over the past few years since he suffered a very bad leg break at boro on 2015.

Ok, two links stating he suffered an injury, nothing to say they were long term, the definition of injury prone would be that he suffers regular long term injuries

How long was Danny Andrew out? How long was Rowe out?

It can happen to anyone!

It is a real shame for the bloke, it reminds me of a player everybody was excited about when we played at BV, he played one game, then got injured and never played again. Can anybody remember the name? Let's hope it isn't career threatening for him.

Former Ipswich player I think. On the tip of my tongue. Cracking player. Looked a class above but we couldn't get him back to fitness.

Similar to Brooker who scored two cracking goals for us, just separated by about 60 games of injury in between.

That's him! Ex Millwall. Could play and put his foot in... We'll, maybe not for us!

It looked like an achilles injury to me. It was a strange one, he seemed to get his studs caught in the ground.

We got a tune out of Horlock when he was on loan - he played a fair bit I seem to remember, and it was only when he signed permanently that he got crocked. Don’t think he ever played for Millwall though.

Yeah he never played for Millwall, best known for his time at Man City.
