Worst referee I’ve seen for a long time, handing cards out to Donny like they were going out of fashion.

Played 2 more minutes of extra time than was allocated also.

To be fair, the amount of time to be added is always announced as a minimum. The ref. obviously added 2 extra minutes for what he probably saw as a bit of time wasting.

Yeah, it's a minimum time not maximum.

How that Coyle didn't get sent off today was beyond me. Same as last season really, dirty little shithouse of a team in their managers image.

Ref matched to a great extent by the West stand assistant, who seemed to give throws based on which hand his flag ended up in when he'd stopped juggling with it.

Can’t believe it took 87 minutes for one of their thugs to get a yellow card

And they were a right set of dirty balongoes. But Alfie May should have been sent off for striking there player

It wasn't a strike it was a shove. But before then May got clipped off the ball then stamped on before being brought down in the box and somehow a free kick being awarded against him. He must have done something to upset the ref, because he was getting no protection at all.

Hard to believe that the number two stayed on the pitch.
That last foul, leading to the winner, was dangerous and worth a red by itself.
Whiteman was lucky to stay on as well when he held back Madden after a poor touch.
Some really strange decisions by the ref today.

I think he realised he shouldn’t have booked Ben the first time

What was all the finger wagging about
He was abysmal, I agree about how it took so long to book a Fleetwood player
The player who went down after the first goal could have easily walked off and eventually was guided off
The stamp on Alfie
He gave us a throw, the West Stand Lino was clueless and guided by the ref who then changed his mind
Tom Anderson manhandled at every corner
The ball moving from the free kick for their equaliser
A few examples I picked up on

Fleetwood were the usual rank set of t**ts. Going down quicker than a Thai prostitute, pushing, whining, general w@anker antics. So glad we beat them and the OG scored by one of the worst of their f*ck-knuckles

that is no defence a push in football is still classed as a strike and if you lay a hand on an opponent then it is a red I'm afraid, does not matter what he or anyone did to him

There would be six sendings off in every match if players got red cards for pushing someone away.

No they tried to cripple him all the game but it is still no defence

When have refs ever got everything right.
Holding an attacker in the 18 yard box is a penalty but not many of those are given are they.

I see what Vicar is saying, My did have his hands up but at the end of the day the referee didn't help him at all missing the stamp and giving a free kick against him when he was brought down.

I think Whiteman should've been sent off for pulling back Madden to be honest, and both his and Sheaf's bookings were justified. But how one of theirs want booked beforehand is baffling, especially Could with that awful lunge near the dugout. And the referee gave a free kick against a Fleetwood player for diving yet didn't card him.

Terrible officiating all round.

Did he really stop play for their player to be treated whilst he was off the pitch?

Laughable, that whole thing. The player hit the Wilfreda Beehive sign behind the byline, and the ref stopped play and rushed over. Not only was the player off the pitch at the time, but he wasn't even injured. As soon as the ref started racing over he picked himself off the floor and jogged back onto the pitch, didn't need treatment or anything. Daft officiating.

No it's not. It's a sending off if it's violent conduct or "excessive force". What May did was neither in my opinion and, more importantly, the refs opinion.

Agreed with most of the above though, how it took so long for one of their players to be booked is staggering.

Some sort of karma in the fact that the no 2's lunge on Sadlier gave away the free-kick from which their other thug-in-chief, Burns, scored the og. I was still laughing on the way home.
