I agree in principle, but just maybe he can pay us back in instalments? The fee we received had various add-ons - maybe we receive a bit more £££ each time he scores?

I'd score with Marosi in goal. Best contract rejection ever.

I’ve got Portsmouth on all my promotion/league winners bets so fully supporting JM to do well this year, as all Rovers fans should be.

Why, he’s playing for a team in direct competition with us for promotion. I hope he doesn’t score another goal all season

Precisely he’s now playing for Pompey and  might regret moving next season when we get promoted (hopefully) and they don’t

Time was when most of us would enjoy seeing an ex-Rover go onto better things and we'd be willing them on...the Snods, Kitch, Mick Elwiss and others.

But Marquis wasn't a home grown youngster, so while I'm grateful for what he did here and I wish him no ill-will, I'm not particularly interested in what he does.

I am struck by how the Belles fans continue to follow enthusiastically the careers of all their departed stars via twitter ..That was a close knit family club at the time between  fans and supporters .Let’s hope they can emulate it with the new squad .
As for JM ..he owes us nothing and I wish him Championship football soon.

Why? We don't owe him anything and he doesn't owe us anything. He's just an ex player

Well done to John . We would likely be up there with Blackpool had he stayed with us imo. We wouldn’t be in this league without his fantastic contribution either.😀⚽️👍

We would have been up there with Blackpool without him had we played Bolton and won by 2-0 or more.

People were booing Danny Andrew on Saturday because he left us to be nearer to family members and for a pay increase.

I wonder if people will boo Marquis when he comes to the Keepmoat.

Well, I won’t boo him but he did leave for similar reasons to Danny Andrew so maybe it will happen.

People were booing Marquis while he played in the hoops, so I can't imagine he'll get a 100% warm welcome!

He gave everything for us so he will get a warm welcome from me before the game.
During the game i hope he has a stinker, and scores an own goal or TWO.  :that:
