There's no chance of us playing when we want it. And we won't get the points.

What's happened is now severely distorting the League 1 results. Another tubbin' for the young weekend pale flowers who need 6 nights in bed before 9.30pm to only lose by 4 or say 5. We should be awarded the 3 points and a 10 goal + on the goal diff.

A hammering on a Tueday night must be more mentally destroying than a hammering on a Saturday afternoon 😀😀

The league is flawed really now isnt it?  If they sign a ton of decent players it'll have a huge impact on the season.

Only on the Team they refused to play, if they sign players before the deadline theres nothing wrong with that

Gillingham have had 28 bleeding shots today.
Everyone seems to be beating Bolton 5-0.
It wouldn’t be unreasonable to award us a win by the same scoreline.

I wonder how long the EFL will piss about making a decision.

3 points and at least 4 or 5 0 if the EFL decide otherwise then they are just like Bolton in disregarding the rules

if they are postponing the game the EFL need to announce it asap and organise the match for a tuesday asap, and tell bolton, politely, they don't run the f*cking league and can't postpone games even if their 1st 11 catch the flu, and espcially not for financial reasons.

t**ts.

We should be writing in to them. A simple email will do, more in depth if you have time.

I'm not sure of the best place to send an email, but have just sent one here:

I notice a few here are assuming we won't get the 3 points. Maybe, but that's most definitely the wrong place to come from. Be positive, be active and tell the EFL what is the RIGHT thing to do.

Wrote to the EFL.

The bottom line for me is that Bolton failed to fulfill an assigned fixture by taking the law into their own hands. That fixture should be forfeit.

3 points and a 5-0 award to Rovers. End of story.

Have Bolton got a player embargo

Yes.

Jack Hobbs rejoined them yesterday & according to BBC Sport, they’re ‘hoping to sign another 4 before the window closes on Monday then even after that date they’ll be able to sign non-contracted players’.

Another 5 goals conceded today against Gillingham surely has to ‘strengthen’ our case to be awarded 3 points + a 5 goal ‘advantage’ given Bolton’s last 3 results, 1 game played immediately before they cancelled, repeat cancelled the game they were due to play against Rovers & the 2 subsequent games since.

Just sent my 2nd email, the first having been sent the day after Bolton cancelled the fixture when I received a very ambiguous reply. I expect nothing but the same again.

We are now slipping down the league because we are TWO games behind through no fault of our own.

If we'd have played 6 games we could easily be top, especially as one of them would have been a 5 nil against Bolton. Think of the confidence boost that would have given the squad. Instead we've got to play catch up. Absolute farce.

Yeah but think of how good it will be when we catch up with our games and go top.
Because of Bury fu**ing themselves up though one team each week will miss a fixture.

Next three league games are I think Rotherham and then away at top of table Ipswich, then Peterborough at home.
