They will get away relatively unpublished and we won't get the 3 points and we will get beat on the away match, can't you just see it coming it is a flocking joke
Wonder if they will play Bradford in the cup on Tuesday after all same amount of time after the Saturday game well less really as the cup game is 7 o'clock kick off.
just catching up on this and all the talk that it's the admin who called the game off not the club is nonsense and should be irrelevant to awarding us the points. You can just see the EFL eating that up and using it as the reason for replaying the game rather than following the process.
One question for the EFL. Who is running League 1 this season? You or Bolton Wanderers. You allowed Bolton to start the season because both they and yourselves were satisfied they could fulfil their fixtures which means playing Saturday/Tuesday as and when the fixtures fall.If you give them a further points deduction it does not really punish them as they are as good as relegated. It would need something very special to survive. They knew that when they called off the match. If you do not award the points to DRFC it is DRFC who are being punished. You have to be strong on this or any club at any time can call off a game as and when they wish. They can then turn round and say you can’t give our opponents the points because you didn’t award DRFC the points. It would lead to total chaos and the integrity of the league would completely be compromised. There would be a future of anarchy. We would much rather have played the match on the 20th Aug when it was supposed to be played and we are not looking for a give away 3 points just so we can have 3 points. There is a huge principle at stake. It is a the fact that Bolton failed to fulfil their scheduled fixture by unilaterally cancelling the game, without asking yourselves or even having the common courtesy to contact DRFC EFL you need to do the right thing or face a future of chaos.
I still think if we are made to play the game then Bolton should only be able to select from those players available on the date we should originally have played them. So non of the new signings should be able to play.

Go bang on their door...very LOUDLY!
All this extra gumf about us not getting a fair deal because of who we are, or the fixture schedule, or prejudiced views on how the EFL will react etc is all irrelevant..Bolton forfeit the fixture, we should get the points regardless..
It wasn’t postponed though..
