Well they haven't included our game in their season ticket package!

Perhaps they are resigned to losing the points....

just had my email response from the EFL.

'no further update'

This is classic case of making me think I'm in the wrong line of work. What do they do all day??

They've now amended their article so it says Rotherham rather than ourselves.

The longer this goes on, the more it appears they are trying to manufacture some face-saving fudge that will - as I always suspected - in no way advantage Rovers. Likely some bullshit replay with whatever players they want at a time inconvenient to Rovers, and a financial penalty to Bolton.

We can only hope the club are on top of this and if they think the EFL has exceeded reasonable time since their last contact then they'll push for a decision.

I just don’t think the EFL know what to do.
They are in a tight corner and know whatever they decide to do they will be criticised by somebody.

Let’s just hope they come to the only really credible decision.
We all know what that is.
If the other league 1 clubs take their blinkers off and stop looking at this selfishly, they too know what the only credible decision is.

I think if we have to play the game we should have an injury crisis and not turn up

That’s the whole point isn’t it. What the heck would the EFL do if that happened.
They will be opening a MASSIVE can of worms if they don’t deal with this NOW and give us the points and give Bolton a further points deduction.

This is crazy how long this is taking.

Surely if the game was to be rescheduled that would have been sorted by now do that everything that goes with organising a fixture can be done.?

I don’t give two hoots what punishment Bolton may get, I am more concerned with what happens to DRFC..

Now with Middlesboro looking to sue the EFL over the Sale of Derby's football ground they will no doubt looking at damage limitation to themselves.

Just dawned on me what our response to the whole farrago should have been.

I suggest GB goes to any  League hearing as Jesus Quintana from The Big Lebowski.

I think the longer it goes on the more chance of us Not getting the points

Exactamundo!! Which is why their silence remains deafening.

They refused the opportunity to have a representative on Football Focus when they ‘headlined’ the show about the situations at Bury & Blackburn.

That speaks volumes.

It’s like a ‘no comment interview’ when you’ve been arrested......as I’ve gleaned from the telly🤭

Surely that’s the other way round.?  The longer it goes on the more difficult it becomes to rearrange a fixture.?

They could wait until the back end of the season. If giving us the 3 points changes the outcome
of anything they may make us play the game

Finally had my email reply, my bold:
Quote
Bolton Wanderers were permitted to start the 2019/20 season as the Administrators had confirmed that they were in a position to be able to compete, and were in advanced negotiations regarding the sale of the Club.

It is an EFL requirement that clubs complete their fixtures and do so by playing their full strength team. Not doing so would mean the Club would potentially be subject to further sanctions.

With regards to Bolton v Doncaster, there is no further update at this time, however this is being discussed.

They have to say "potentially" until a decision is made, but good at least to see the acknowledgement of "It is an EFL requirement..." etc along with the implication that the Admins had gone back on their word " that they were in a position to be able to compete". It's pretty serious put in that light.

Don’t think this one has reached the House of Commons yet CLH. The courts may come first.
Any way they are all having a holiday thanks to Boris.

They’ve conceded 23 goals in 6 games and scored 1 goal

Coneded average 3.86 goals

Scored average 0.16 goals

3pts and a 4-0 win is about fair in my eyes
