A game we are going into as a team showing very little collective form, being on the wrong end of poor referee and assistant referee decisions ( a clear penalty and an off side decision) costing us in the last two games, and the approach of the opposition sides, continually disrupting play, and allowed to continually get away with stopping the flow if the game and man handling players. And it works, we seem incapable of overcoming these tactics, and have lost the collective game a team needs to overcome the opposition, giving the ball away regularly after one or two passes, which we did not do when we were playing well. Peterborough on the other hand are pushing to get into the automatic promotion spots, are dangerous going forward and have players in their team that are regular goal scorers, and a manager who will really want to put us to the sword. That is the big question to me though, what tactics and game plan will Peterborough employ, will they come out to play, that could be dangerous only Oxford playing us off the park this season that way, or employ the disruptive game we struggle to overcome. Hopefully Whiteman will come back in the team, but I hope apart from him we keep changes to a minimum injuries allowing to our starting line up, which may not be every ones desire but as much as poor form has cost us lately I feel continually making changes has not helped either. So, Boxing day, can we get back on track with a good result? can we hope for a change in both form and good luck? Lot's to be discussed about this game, please have your say.
Next 3 games Peterborough, Sunderland and Oxford cant see a goal never mind a win against them lot.

The negativity is mind blowing. Get behind your team for pete’s sake. This negativity is getting really boring. Not just having a go at you Rovers91 your just one of many i’m afraid. Just get behind your team and give them your proper support. Players appreciate that amazingly enough. Any body would think we are playing Liverpool at Anfield.Oh yes and we were bottom of the 4th div and drew at Anfield didn’t we.

I do give the players my support by going home and away but the shite they are serving up they need to start giving the fans something to support. When they are playing the way they are of course fans are going to be negative and frustrated and not jumping around with joy. But that doesn't mean fans are any less of fans and are still turning up every week spending their money to support them for that hour and half.

He’s been poor lately and I lost count the amount of times he gave the ball away yesterday.

Completely agree with that retdon, I think Sheaf has really tailed off since his early season good form and if Gomes played well yesterday (I didn’t go but have read that he did alright and spoken to people there) then a spell on the bench might give Sheaf a kick up the backside.Ennis too has to start if fit. There’s no doubting Thomas’ effort (see what I did there ) but for his size I don’t think he causes the physical problems that he should and technically he’s nowhere near the level we need. We’ve missed Ennis’ energy and harassment of defenders - if he’s fit he should be one of the first names on the team sheet for me despite not scoring many.

Do you think what you have said will be in Darren Moore’s team talk. Good job your not a Southend United supporter. You would be stood on the end of Southend Pier ready to jump.
One to cheer up the doom-mongers!In their last five home games in League One, Peterborough have won 4 and drawn 1, keeping 4 clean sheets.

Thought you weren't going to get involved in Dockos posts

You must know by now DF is his hero. I have given up because he will just try and wear you down until you lose it with him. Think that’s all he is after. A reaction. He just loves arguing. It is his passion.
