Why spend big in L1 when you’ve only got to do it again in the Championship as no ambitious player will drop down when he can get what he wants from a Championship Club . Quality loans are the only way DRFC can stretch its budget to fit its circumstances. Budgets large or small mean nothing if they don’t get results look at Sunderland or Portsmouth or Wycombe which budget would we prefer ? DM just needs to get what he has got to do more and get a goal scorer worth his money and the playoffs will be within reach .

I’m thinking it’s time to look at this years budget, and this new wage structure. It’s clearly not working and we’re risking taking 2 steps back.
Don’t be pathetic.. people can discuss the budget of course, but equally they can be questioned on their sources or if it appears they are jumping to conclusions..
I hear we are on about a lad from Leicester City that played against us, but it is a loan

He was all round good at everything without being excellent at any one thing - unless winding the defence up counts as he was brilliant at it. Haven’t got the programme with me but the centre midfield lad with blonde hair was the best player on the pitch by a long long way that night. He was fast and creative and positive and would be excellent alongside Captain Fantastic - maybe Luke Thomas.Either of those would be fantastic. The shorter striker/CAM/Winger who scored looked like a pretty decent finisher as well but did very little else all game - just checked and it was Muskwe.
