It is no comfort to anyone who lives there but I guess the one small crumb of comfort we on this forum will have as regards the effect of climate change on the UK is that it will hit the lowest lying areas first. Which includes the Isle of Axholme.Reports last week show that the Antarctic ice shelf is melting twice as quickly as predicted. Had any estimate for jacking your house up on stilts yet AL? Or swapping your gas-guzzler for a boat?
