He's caught him with his elbow, not sure its malicious though. Steve Evans and his staff's reaction pushed the officials to a red.

We won't appeal that though.

Watched it back a few times and hes looked and stuck it on him whilst the ball was in flight. To confirm it was how it looked when he walked past DM he didnt say a word to him. We were so confortable at that point as well.

He was manager of Boston when it all kicked off there and they were relegated and put down the leagues
I’m sure he was banned for some kind of misconduct with regard to the club

He’s a horrible horrible foul mouthed little git

At Boston the dug outs were really close to the supporters   His mouth is vile

Why was he allowed back into football
Sounds like  Source grapes , You can’t legislate for two own goals , but we did have chances to get back into the game .

Seems unlikely today's result is the cause of people's opinions of Steve Evans. More likely the last couple of decades.

Pretty sure the comments would have been the exact same this time yesterday. This time last month. This time last decade. And on and on it goes.

The Gillingham bench reacted identically 10 mins before when (I think) the same player went down like a sack of shite when he hadn't been touched in the same position.

I despise Evans more than anyone else in football.

It was Mr Creosote's berserk antics that got him sent off. He's a complete disgrace.

I listened to the game on radio Sheffield, 3 minutes into the game the commentator apologised if the audience could hear the foul mouth expletives coming from Steve Evans and his assistant that were below his microphone on the bench. I’d commented on another post that they had influenced the ref and the 4th officials to make the sending off decision and the other bookings.

Are we blaming our defeat on ‘the antics’ of Steve Evans & his ‘perceived’ influence on the officials that ultimately saw us lose today?

If so, ‘regardless of weak officials’, given DM’s pre match comments regarding said antics (although put more discreetly by DM) of what he knew we would likely encounter today, what does that say about Evans v Moore when it comes down to winning 3 points.....whatever it takes?

I'm blaming the officials for allowing themselves to be intimidated by the serial cheat for our defeat yesterday.

Couldn't agree more BB.

There was so much evidence that it was a premeditated cheat.

1) The fact that they'd attempted it ten minutes before.

2) The choreographed jumping off the bench which they'd already done after the first non-foul.

3) The way their player went down. Laid out straight as an arrow not moving. No-one lays like that when they've been pole-axed. Look at James on Tuesday night. His whole body was tensed and his hands were grabbing his face, not just laid over it.

4) As someone pointed out, the fact that none of the Gillingham players went to see how he was.

Cheating. Plain and simple and obvious.

Radio Sheffield had said something had gone off before the sending off and they were trying to disrupt/intimidate us and the officials.

Looking at the coming together again their player got tight up to Fejiri with his arm round him and his head somewhere around his armpit trying to stop Fejiri turning, as he did and tried to lever himself away, the kid may have been brushed with Fejiri elbow but if he puts his head there, it's more self inflicted. He goes to ground making a meal of it and it plays straight into Evans and Raynors hands and they were in the 4th officials face, meanwhile they throw on the trainer who probably says to the lad, play dead!

Reminds me a bit of the Marquis incident last season when the Keeper ran into Marquis and claimed he was elbowed. Once again, the ref took a guess based on the antics that followed.
